Maths outdoors with Pappus

The Pappus website was piloted by PLL at a training course in a secondary school where it was enthusiastically received. The teachers, (especially the maths co-ordinator) were enthused about taking the students outside. After a walkabout on site, where we assessed and discussed the many and various learning opportunities, one of the teachers said 'I have never thought of our grounds as a learning resource. This is just so important, in particular in the context of mental health and being outdoors'

This was a very positive endorsement of the use of the Pappus resources in secondary education.
