Let’s get started! Playwork Partnerships and Play Learning Life are hosting a series of online and face-to-face workshops, and we’d love to see you there. The PAPPUS project has brought six European partners together, through Erasmus+ funding, to create hundreds of easy-to-use resources to inspire engagement, play and learning in the outdoors and with plants. Experts from Poland, Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the UK have mined contemporary and traditional cultural references to draw out the unique and special qualities outdoors offers for rich and memorable ideas and inspiration aimed at teachers, playworkers and youth workers.
Dovetailing neatly with other nature-based and sustainability play and education initiatives, PAPPUS offers children enjoyable and meaningful contexts for play and learning, using a selection of common plants. Getting out and about to find the plants – or perhaps grow them – builds discovery and immersion into the learning and play springboards. Developed in partnership with playworkers, youth workers and teachers in all six countries, PAPPUS includes options for self-directed or tutor led training to help practitioners make the most of the resources and plan productive, playful and compelling programmes of work. Register soon to get your tickets to attend our exclusive programme of events where you'll find out more about how the PAPPUS resources work together, how they could enrich your work with playful learning opportunities and how to introduce the PAPPUS ‘Top 15’ plants into everyday learning and play.
